These pieces are all from grandma Smedley. The two matching pins she gave to me for Christmas one year.
When we were kids on one of the numerous visits with grandma, she was sitting in the living room with her jewelry box. Of course my sister and I were pretty intrigued with what ever she was looking for.
She let each one of us pick out something from the box to keep. Sister got to pick first. There wasn't really anything left that I was excited about so I just picked the matching beads and earrings, even though I thought they were ugly. I mean, I wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth, right? I don't remember what the beads that my sister picked looked like, I just know they were prettier than mine! I think that is why grandma also let me have the pretty green pin.
I think the pieces are lovely, Leslie Ann and besides vintage is IN.
