Treasure Chest Thursday -- My Flower Children

While I was back in Idaho in my old room (I don't know why I wanted to be the one to move in the new bedroom that dad built in the dark basement with no windows!) I was looking through all my stuff to figure out what I could bring back home with me in my suitcase.
I spotted a couple of treasures that I had hanging on the wall, but I wanted to leave them there so I took a picture of them.

This precious artwork was something that my boys did while they were in kindergarten for a Mother's Day gift.  The flowers are their own handprints and the petals are their footprints.

I am sure that one day their children will enjoy these.

Electa Virginia Terry

I'm back and I even have a few treasures that I found in two different antique stores. The first one is called Finders Keepers and it is located in Pocatello, Idaho.  I bought three postcards there, but the item that I want to share with you first is something that I could not easily take back on the plane with me so I took  a photo of it with my Blackberry. I figured that at least I could share the info and hopefully a family member can go purchase the item, or at least see a copy of it.

This is Electa Virginia Terry:

I have been able to find a little information about her:

Idaho -- Here I come!

I just wanted to let my readers know that I wont be posting for about 2 weeks because I am going back home to visit with my family.  You can bet that I will be hitting some antique stores while I am gone so maybe I will come back with some wonderful lost family treasures to share!
