Smile For the Camera -- School Days

I have seen so many class pictures of my aunts, uncles, and mother and I would really love to post them, but alas I do not have access to them. (bummer) Heck, my own class pictures are still in Idaho! (I really must remedy that some day.) So I guess we are going to have to settle for my kindergarten picture.

This picture was taken on the last day of kindergarten, my kindergarten graduation if you will. I walked to kindergarten every day because it was just around the block. I don't know why on this day my teacher, Mrs. Hampton decided to give everyone a ride home. I guess it was because she wanted to take everyone's picture in front of their house.

Ah, I remember the good old days of taking naps on a mat, eating snacks, spilling my punch on plerk pleagle (that's what me and my friend Shelly called him). I can still see his red punch mustache, and the mean look on his face.

  1. Too cute! My memory of kindergarten is a realistic chicken that my teacher had. We would sing a "chicken laying eggs" song and she would push on the chicken's body and out would pop a plastic (?) egg. I think there was plastic back then...lol
