A. Barbara Kob -- Pennsylvania

Last Friday I decided to go to the Ribbons Of Pink Antiques store in Jacksonville. I found several bits of family treasures to keep me posting for a while. Today it's about Barbara Kob.

This photo was taken by D. C. Moll of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania in the Spring of 1898. I was able to find a Barbara A. Kob in the 1880 and 1900 census of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

According to the 1900 Census Barbara was a teacher. This suggests to me that the photo above may have been taken at the school she taught at. It may have been a school picture. I haven't been able to find any more information on her.

I did find D. C. Moll listed as a photographer in the 1910 Bedford West Ward, Bedford, Pennsylvania Census.

Hopefully there is a relative out there that would appreciate this wonderful photo.
